Entering from Germany

Foreign citizens (non-vaccinated) are allowed to enter Bosnia and Herzegovina only if they:

  • present a negative PCR or antigen test result not older than 48h at the border
    • if arriving from countries outside Europe, the test is valid for 72h
    • children of BiH citizens under the age of 18 are exempt from this requirement

or

  • present a doctors confirmation that they have recovered from COVID-19
    • in the period between 14 and 180 days prior to entry

Children under the age of 7 are exempt from the restrictions if traveling with a parent or guardian who is allowed to enter.

Certificate - accepted

Foreigners arriving from Germany are allowed to enter without restrictions if they present a COVID-19 vaccination certificate. 

  • 14 days must have passed since receiving the second dose (or first dose in case of a one dosage vaccine).
Entering from Germany

BiH citizens and their family members, regardless of citizenship, are allowed to enter Bosnia and Herzegovina without restrictions.
